BUILT ON ONE STANDARd. CRAFT IN THE PROCESS. TRANSPARENCY IN THE BOTTLE. INTENTION IN EVERY POUR. CONNECTION IN EVERY MOMENT. THE SPIRIT FOR MORE.

The spirit for those who live with balance, choose with purpose, and gather with meaning.

BORN IN AUSTIN.
ROOTED IN JALISCO.
CRAFTED FOR MORE.

Verdadero was built on a simple belief, that a truly great tequila demands attention to tradition and detail without sacrificing quality for efficiency. We make our tequila the hard way, using three ingredients: slow-roasted mature agave, local spring water, and wild natural yeast. Our pedigree and process drive everything we do.

 CRAFTED FOR MORE.
FROM FIELD TO BOTTLE

MORE THAN A TEQUILA.
MORE THAN A MOMENT.

The Spirit for More is not a slogan. It is a standard; A mindset. More honesty in how it is made. More intention in how it is shared. More meaning in every moment it is poured.

Verdadero is built on the belief that tequila is more than a product. It is a shared experience and a reflection of values. We exist to raise the standard for how spirits are made, shared, and experienced.

Verdadero is for those who refuse to settle. Clean. Honest. Uncompromised. Made for the people who want more from every moment they experience.

note from the owner

note from the owner

I grew up in Kentucky, where bourbon is more than a drink. It is culture, craft, and legacy.

My family worked in rickhouses and distilleries, so I was surrounded early on by aging barrels, craftsmanship, and the stories that live inside every bottle. I learned that the best spirits stand for more than what is in the glass. Some bottles are saved. Some are shared. Some become part of the moments we remember most.

Years later, after making Austin home, I found that same sense of history and intention in tequila. Not the stereotype, but the craft, patience, and tradition behind it. When tequila is made with care, it has a way of bringing people together with the same soul I grew up respecting in bourbon.

When I had the opportunity to purchase Verdadero, I saw more than a brand. I saw honest roots, thoughtful tequila, and the chance to build something with deeper meaning.

Verdadero is guided by one idea: The Spirit for More.

More intention in how it is made. More honesty in how it is shared. More purpose in every pour, More depth in every conversation, and every moment around the table.

Because the best bottles are not always the ones you save forever. They are the ones that become part of your story.

01

Harvest

Our tequila is made with 100% Blue Weber agave from the highlands and lowlands of Jalisco, harvested at 8 years. This is almost twice the industry standard. More time in the ground means more natural sugar, more complexity, and more depth in every bottle.

02

Cook

Agave hearts are slow-roasted for 56 hours in traditional brick hornos. Compared with the industry standard of 32 hours, our slower roast draws out the agave’s natural sweetness while preserving its character.

03

Crush

Cooked agave is pressed through a traditional stone tahona wheel, one of the oldest methods in tequila making. The tahona slowly extracts the pure agave juice, preserving every layer of flavor the plant spent 8 years developing.

04

Ferment

No yeast is added. Because our agave is harvested at full maturity, fermentation happens naturally and is driven by the wild yeast that lives on the plant itself. Fermentation takes 60 to 72 hours, the way tequila was originally made.

05

Distill

Our tequila is twice distilled in pot stills for balance and character. Blanco is rested before bottling. Reposado is aged for 6 months, while our Añejo is aged for over a year. Both aged in former Kentucky bourbon barrels.

06

Hand Labeled

Every bottle is labeled by hand. Our tequila is small-batch from start to finish.
